Hurl yourself adventure bits first towards the Western Ghats in the best vehicle on the planet. Think of it as all the best bits of the All-India Run but squashed into one week of adventuring euphoria. About a thousand miles of South Indian backroads are waiting for you to commandeer them in your mighty rickshaw.
As you hurtle along in your mechanised biscuit tin, you’re going to very soon realise this Run is not only about parties on the beach (though there’s ample scope for that too if that sort of thing is to your liking).
This part of India being so undeniably bloody excellent, it was only a matter of time before we had the genius idea of opening a specific South India Run. Choose your unroute wisely and you can spend days on end blissfully bouncing along on dirt tracks, through tiger reserves, via ancient temple cities, along the coast or, if you’re really smart, a heady mix of all of it.
