Mongol Derby LEADERBOARD: Day 2 – Monday 5th August

At the end of day one with the notable exception of Devan Horne, the field was looking tightly packed 25 riders finished the day level at Urtuu 2. By the end of  day 2 Devan has still got a healthy lead, but the field behind her has spread out considerably between Urtuu 4 & 5.

Mattias Lochthofen – Mattias  still suffering from the gastric bug which hit him on the start line, is unable to persevere in the cold and wet, and has been collected from the field, where he will be taken back to Ulaanbaatar to recuperate. Hopefully after a couple of days rest he’llbe fit to re-join the field and ride on hors concours.
