The Pioneers Ice Run graced the tele-boxes of the residents of launch town Irbit yesterday. The highlight being the moment Chris of team Ice Ice Maybe drove quite gracefully into a ditch, skip to 1:45 to see it. And the reason for said crash, Chris was a little distracted by the process of waving to a camera - both team mates and the bike were fine and hauled back onto the road moments later.

As described by the team 'We've had an eventful start on the Ice Run. 2km in to the race, Chris decided to test the bike off road by jumping a 2ft wall and heading down a slight bank into a pile of snow. Local TV did catch it so hopefully we will get a copy to you.' That they did chaps and here it is.
