Riding the Planet for Charity Episode 1 - Mongol Rally Team Blind Pilots Mini-series
Episode 1 of 7
Swiss Mongol Rally 2011 team 'Blind Pilots' put together a mini-series of dispatches from the back of their ambulance during the Rally. Comprising of Samuel Heer, Dominik Babst & Michael Waser the team filmed their 10,000 mile adventure, edited the footage and uploaded to the internet at the next cafe wifi spot - no mean feat when galavanting through deserts, up mountains and across steppe.
To quote Samuel "The editing was an adventure in itself, it took sometimes up to 5 minutes just to be able to double-click on a file because the cursor was jumping all over the place".
Episode 1 sees a relatively sedate start as the team are waved off from Lucern, Switzerland by their well wishers and head straight for the European Launch and Czechout Party at Klenova Castle in the Czech Republic.
Things get a little more adventury in the next episode.
