Rickshaw Run team pips Kochinites at cricket (for the first time ever)
An update from Mr. Matt - Chief of India Branch

For the first time in Rickshaw Run history the foreigners who had just completed over 3,500 km from Jaisalmer to Kochi beat the local team in a friendly cricket match here in Fort Cochin. Brushing the dirt from their brows the team finally came to victory with a 67 to 56 score over the 10 overs. Team Lick My Rick had this to say on the match: "There was some interesting umpiring from their side… their captain was good, but then he was the only one that had a moustache so maybe that’s why. There were some good motivational speeches and both fantastic and truly shocking bowling on our side… a great all round effort.'
Trophies were presented by Jitendra (Jitu) Shah – a local rickshaw driver who has helped The Adventurists since the first ever Rickshaw Run back in 2006.
Teams continue to arrive, sooted and sweaty from the open road in preparation for the finish line party of mighty proportions.
