Marking ten years of the Mongol Rally: 2004 to 2013 In 2013 the mighty Mongol Rally is ten years old. Quite a landmark you'll agree. To mark a decade of motoring stupidity we're running a series of investigative pieces around the number 10.

There are many things one should endeavour to try on the way to Mongolia in a tiny car, and quite a few to try and sidestep, like arriving first at the finish line or using guide books, so here's 10 of each in infographic form:
