Czechout 2012 - 12 hours of uninterrupted & unadulterated partying
There's nothing like a jolly good party in a derelict 13 century castle deep in the hills of Bohemia, so that's what we had. By 'jolly good' we mean a 12 hour uninterrupted, unadulterated shindig with some of Europe's most exceptional bands and DJs, a pyromaniacal fire show, an almost infinite meaty Czech feast, a rave cave so loud ear drums bled with joy, high ramparts to clamber on, alcoholic lubricants flowing with Niagara Falls'esque megalitres per minute, fancy dresses of the utmost obscene... you get the picture.
After a procession up to Klenova Castle Ralliers were greeted by the upbeat pomp-pomp of a skiffle jazz band - complete with washboard and brass mouth megaphone. With skiffle as the backing track, the masses munched on aforementioned mighty meaty feast.

Ensuing tomfoolery that evening may, or may not have been alcohol related. The main stage played host to the very best of live acts, the rave cave received cool clients and regurgitated an altogether sweatier version of the entrant approximately one hour later - a sort of loud, cave shaped, human slow cooker. Cross-dressing Ralliers in corsets wagged their chins ferouciously with honeymooning Ralliers in steam-punk wedding attire. For those in need of a good cup of tea, the chill-out shisha den was a hub of nattering, sipping and smoking delight.

Mayhemic activities continued up at the castle until 1am when the suitably inebriated Ralliers stumbled back down towards the swooping searchlight high in the sky. The Military Base hosted the second act in this two part marathonic partying extravaganza - the Warehouse After-Party. Words can barely do the continuing party saga justice. The fire-pit was roaring, the drum & bass was thumping, the bar was heaving and the Ralliers were damn well partying like humans have ne're partied before. At around 7am, with the sun risen and early morning mist hanging in the valley below, there was a slow dispersal of the final fearless few.

Overall, rather good party. You can never truly comprehend until you've been there, see you next year?
