A Month of Fundraising Chaos

Hundreds of Ralliers flood east, evading border patrols and refusing to change their underwear. The world’s hardiest horse riders are busy applying handfuls of Vaseline to their nether regions in preparation for the Derby. The Rickshaw Runner’s are readying their bowels for all that Indian street food can throw at them.

With all this carnage unfolding you’ve still managed to raise thousands for Cool Earth throughout July,  £51,000 in-fact. A truly smashing effort everyone.

STORIES FROM THE RAINFOREST

Childbirth is the most common cause of death for women in our Ashaninka project. The remoteness of the villages creates huge difficulties in accessing emergency healthcare.

Cool Earth has teamed up with One Heart World-Wide, who are leading experts in healthcare support for mothers and infants in remote rural areas.

Together we are empowering the women and communities of the Amazon to ensure safe births, health and wellbeing of mothers and infants.

The most important thing for me is to be a safe birthing partner in Cobeja so that I can help pregnant women and their children
— Erminia Imposhito - Health Promoter

Thanks to the Adventurist’s epic feats of fundraising we’ve been able to train 75 women throughout our Ashaninka project in basic newborn care.

FUNDRAISING TIDBITS

The first step to fundraising greatness is to create yourself a shiny new fundraising page. Luck should have it that you can make one of these with the simple click of this button.

Once your page is up and running then you need to get promoting. Spread your page all over the Internet, aggressively email your friends and even shout about it from the rooftops if you have to. The more people you can get to your page the more donations you’ll see flooding in.

WIN! WIN! WIN!

Ever had the urge to spend a week being bitten by bugs as big as your hand while sweating profusely and drinking a spit fermented cocktail? If so then you’re in luck. We’re sending one Adventurist team out to the rainforest to visit our Ashaninka project, in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.

To be in with a chance of grabbing this incredible prize all you need to do is raise a minimum of £1,000 for Cool Earth and you’ll find yourselves in the competition pot. If you’re the boring type that loves to read fine print, then indulge yourself by clicking here

Best of luck to all the brave adventurers that are causing chaos round the globe.

Onwards, save the world, we salute you.
