Pre-Race Training will be conducted on August 7-9th, and the start gun will fire after a hearty breakfast on Friday, August 10th.  Final dust expected to settle Sunday, August 19th, whereupon tearful speeches will be made and holy vodka sprinkled.  And imbibed.  Riders will be transferred back to Ulaanbaatar by vehicle on August 20th.

How Much?

£5,950 of your Queen's finest.  That is a lot of money, but then again, the Derby runs a staff of over 100 people, uses vats of cutting edge technical equipment, and imports enough veterinary and medical supplies to sink a small battleship.  It's no cheap undertaking...
