The Mototaxi Junket sees teams from all over the world drive a wholly unsuitable sofa bike down, and sometimes up, the winding almost roads of Bolivia, Paraguay and now Peru. It's a beast of an adventure, and the teams taking part have raised impressive piles of cash for charities.
In 2009, the Rickshaw Run had become so popular that the combination of three wheels and two weeks had to be repeated. The Mototaxi Junket is a bit like its predecessor in India, only much, much harder and in vehicles that are even more unsuitable for the task. The first adventure took place in October 2009 and they've wobbled their way around South America ever since.
