The Mongol Rally is a 10,000 mile drive across a third of the planet in a tiny car most people wouldn't use for the shopping run. It starts in Europe and finishes in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia.
The first ever adventure set forth in 2004 with six teams. Four of them made it and an adventure revolution of splendidly epic proportions was afoot. The Rally exploded in popularity and these days over 1,000 people from all over the world take part every summer. Teams take a small car that most people wouldn't use for the shopping run, and thunder a third of the way across the planet from Europe to Mongolia, finishing in Ulaanbaatar.
