One of our main principles is to not blur the line between giving money to charity and having a bloody good adventure. So we don't touch a single penny of the money that is donated, it goes direct to the charities. When you give some of your hard earned cash to a team you can be sure it all goes to the right place, see the graphics above for a more graphically exciting description.
Teams that sign up for adventures are asked to raise £500 for their adventure's Official Charity, and then a further £500 for a charity of their very own choice. Most teams then thunder far beyond this in to the multiple thousands of pounds which is splendid.
Each event has an Official Charity that our teams raise money for. This means that each organisation gets a meaningful sum of money to benefit their projects. It also means we can support projects in the areas our adventures go through.
