The humble tea leaf has long been synonymous with adventure. Columbus, Magellan, Cooke, Heyerdahl, Mallory... they all loved a good cup of tea as they pored over maps and plotted their next discoveries.

The Adventurists Afternoon Tea with a Legend of Adventure was created in homage to this noble partnership, and in the last few years we’ve brought you tales from inimitable adventurers such as Benedict Allen and John Blashford Snell.

In 2011 the Afternoon Tea went global once again, including events in London, Madrid, Philadelphia, Edinburgh and even Sydney, Australia.

The vital ingredients also returned; tea flown in from the far corners of the globe, the finest homemade cakes, music and performers, splendid venues and of course Hendrick's Gin. No Afternoon Tea is complete without lashings of Hendrick's Gin.
